Copy of About Read

Goal

For all of Springfield's children to read proficiently by the end of 3rd grade

Reading Success by 4th Grade’s goal is to ensure that the entire community is organized and working together to help all children acquire the fundamental reading and language skills necessary for success in school and in life.

Vision

Springfield is a city where every child has every opportunity.

This can be achieved when all students successfully graduate high school with excellent preparation for college, career, and citizenship. One of the biggest predictors of high school graduation is the achievement of grade-level reading by the end of 3rd grade.
